Kushboo, a celluloid angel of south, initially worked as an airhostess with Cathay Pacific. She started her film career in Bollywood. Later moved to Telugu, Kannada and finally Tamil. The first movie in South Indian languages was Kaliyuga Pandavulu with Venkatesh.
She has acted in a number of hit movies with Heroes like Prabhu, Venkatesh, Karthik, Kamalhaasan and Rajanikant as well. The film Bhadram Koduko where she acted as a street child won National Award. She won Tamil Nadu State Award for Chinna Thambi, Kolangal, Pathini and Cinema Express Award for Irattai Roja.
At present, she is working for Kannada film Aunty Preetze. She completed Pasupu Roja in Telugu. She is planning to work as a Producer and start Home Entertainment Co; for producing TV soap operas and feature films.
She was one of the judge in the dance show maanada mayilada on Kalaignar TV. Along with famous choreographer Kala Master and actress Kushboo.
