Gayathri Jayaram, the dusky model turned actress made her debut in Malayalam with Jayaram in Salperu Ramankutty. Gayathri was the hot ‘n’ happening girl in Tamil films after that famous dance number Manjakkattu Maina... with Prabhu Deva.
After taking a break from Tamil films, Gayathri is trying her luck in Kannada and Malayalam. Her next film is Lokanathan IAS with Kalabhavan Mani. She plays a police officer and pins a lot on the film. Remember that Sriya Reddy had also played a similar role with Suresh Gopi in Bharathchandran IPS.
In Lokanathan IAS Gayathri plays Durga Devi, the police commissioner. Sunita Productions M. Mani is the producer of this film and it will be an Onam release.
