As sudden and unexpected as her entry into films was, she slowly found her bearings in Bollywood in spite of never having planned on being an actress and not knowing anyone in the industry. Post Yahaan there was no looking back as she quickly went on to work with actors like Kay Kay Menon, Bipasha Basu, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi and Zayed Khan within her next few releases. Minissha Lamba, a known face in the modelling circuit, debuted with the film Yahaan (2005). The former face of Cadbury's chocolate commercial was born in a Punjabi speaking Sikh family in New Delhi. A graduate from Miranda House, Minissha has trained under N.K Sharma's Act One theatre group. The acting career of this petite actress seems to have taken off on a good start.
